The Empress is a wonderful retreat for all the family, and in a beautiful setting, overlooking the open seaside. We have 104 bedrooms and a range of room types to suit most requirements.

We offer FREE SUPER FAST FIBRE WiFi throughout the Hotel (WiFi code is: empress99).

Most bedrooms and public areas can be accessed via the main lift although some rooms are accessed via a few steps in the corridors or bedrooms as well.

The 4 Star Empress Hotel has one restaurant, one main bar and lounge, a breakfast room, and three meeting and event rooms and frequently holds Weddings and Dinner Dances with music until midnight (mainly at weekends) that can sometimes be heard in some bedrooms.
